The results are in from 2011 GUKPT Summer Series 1a and 1b.

This year’s GUKPT Summer Series 1a and 1b, which took place at the G Casino Brighton and G Casino Dundee respectively, both consisted of 4 trophy events, as well as several satellites to the Main Event.

These events were the £500+50 Re-entry Hold’em Main Event, a £200+20 Double Chance Freezeout, a £150+15 Freezeout, and a £100+10 Bounty Event.

David Mcconachie was the winner of the Main Event of the 2011 GUKPT Summer Series Brighton, besting a field of 59 runners to take home his first GUKPT trophy.

David has been on somewhat of a tear of late, chopping the £300 March Main Event at the Fox Poker Club in London for £8,270 and finishing 12th in the same event in April. He can now add a GUKPT title to his resume and another £8000+ to his bankroll.

Other winners at the 2011 GUKPT Summer Series 1a Brighton were:

- Danny Toffel: winner of the £200 Double Chance
- Xenfofon Kalanas: winner of the £150 Freezeout
- Daniel Buckley: winner of the £100 Bounty

The GUKPT Summer Series 1b Dundee was won by Lewis Fowler, who had the unique experience of hoisting two GUKPT Summer Series trophies at this event. Lewis also took down the £150 Freezeout.
